However, for the Loving Kindness exercise I was able to stay focused. This is because I thought of a love while performing this exercise. A piece of mind came about immediately, my muscles began to relax from tension while performing each exercise. I enjoyed diong both of the exercises but I will continue to do the Loving Kindness often. 2. Discuss the connection of the spiritual wellness to mental and physical wellness. Stress or Not

Describe your experience. As I was listening to the audio about Love and Kindness my body began to relax somewhat. But my mind began racing thinking and wondering were this audio was taking me to. As I continued to listen to the soft spoken voice, both my mind and body relaxed. Did you find it beneficial? I enjoyed the audio and I was able to get a little relaxtion from it. I would recommend this method to others ,because I believe that it can help relieve some stress. Difficult? Why or why not? Would you recommend this to others? Why or why not? What is the concept of "mental workout"? What does the research indicate are the proven benefits of a mental workout? How can you implement mental workouts to foster your psychological health? The concept of “mental workout” is preparing our mental state of mind for the real world. This in terms mean that in order for us to accompolish are goals in life we must be ready to deal with stress and many other obstacles that may come our way. The mind should be trained and built to handle, case loads of work, school, and things that may over work the mind. I believe we all handle stress in different ways what might stress one individual may not stress another. However, it is imperative for the mind to be strong and balanced for life struggling times.

LIFE IS POWERFUL

1. Based on your reflections, and on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being optimal wellbeing), where do you rate your A-physical wellbeing, B-spiritual well-being, C-psychological well-being? Why? In order, for my health to be in good standing I must be respectful about the things I consume. Good health can and may relate to the positve things that I may surround myself with. I manage to keep my mind active with positve thinking and exercises everyday of my life even though, things may get a little out of control. I would have to say that I believe that the physical wellbeing part of my life has room for improvement and that will come just as long as I have the willingness to do so. As for the spiritual wellbeing part of my life, I am a Christain and I have a strong relationship with God. I do believe that prayer changes things for the better and if I continue to pray, good things will happen. I attend church on a regular basis and I often participate in church activites such as the choir, usher board and leadership program. The psychological well being deals with how a maintain a relationship with others and myself. I love myself dearly and I have an outstanding relationship with family and friends. I am here on this earth because I have a purpose and that purpose is to make a positve impact in the life of others. I will do so by remaining postive in life. 2. Develop a goal for yourself in each area (physical, spiritual, psychological). The goal that I developed for the physical part of my life is: To work on doing some sort of exercise that will strenghten my body. The goal that I developed for the spiritual part of my life is: Is to pray even when times get rough around the edge, never give in or up, keep striving for the best. The goals that I developed for the psychological part of my life are: To keep others in mind and always try to lend a helping hand when needed. 3. What activities or exercise can you implement in your life to assist in moving toward each goal? The activities that I can implement in my life to assist in moving toward each goal will be a positive attitude, an opened mind, and a willing heart to listen to others. I can also involve relaxing techniques that will help keep my mind at ease when going through stressful situations. Not to mention, eating well balanced meals to help keep the mind, body and soul at a healthy point. 4. Complete the relaxation exercise The Crime of the Century. The relaxtion exercise The Crime of the Century, had my mind wondering, instead of relaxing my attention was foccused about what the guy was saying. However, in the beginning I did start of relaxing but after listen to the audio for a few minutes the relaxing mold was discontinued. I did not find the relaxing exercise helpful for relaxing me or a way to ease my mind.

RELAXATION

Relaxation I took the journey to listen to the relaxing technique and in the beginning I begin to wonder where this journey will lead me. However, after a few seconds of listening to the peaceful soft spoken voice my body, mind, and soul being to relax completely. I was amazed about how some of my muscles actually begin to ease down from tension and stress. I absolutely adore taking journeys such as these because they allow my body and mind to have some relaxing and peaceful time to meditate and reminisce about good times.
